Η Ντία Αναγνώστου είναι Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια Συγκριτικής Πολιτικής και Διεθνούς Διακυβέρνησης στο Τμήμα Δημόσιας Διοίκησης στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο (από το 2013 μέχρι σήμερα), και Κύρια Ερευνήτρια στο ΕΛΙΑΜΕΠ (από το 2004 μέχρι σήμερα). Από το 2023 εργάζεται ως αποσπασμένη εθνική εμπειρογνώμονας στο Ευρωπαϊκό Συμβούλιο Έρευνας της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής. Κατείχε ερευνητικές θέσεις στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Πρίνστον (1999-2000), στο Ευρωπαϊκό Ερευνητικό Ινστιτούτο της Φλωρεντίας (2000-2001, 2010-2012), και στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Κύπρου (2020-2023), ενώ διδάσκει και στο Κολλέγιο της Ευρώπης στη Bruges.

H κ. Αναγνώστου έχει μακρά ερευνητική εμπειρία στην έρευνα της συγκριτικής πολιτικής και της διεθνούς διακυβέρνησης. Μέσα από μία διεπιστημονική προσέγγιση της πολιτικής επιστήμης και της νομικής, η έρευνά της εστιάζει στο ρόλο και στην επίδραση που ασκούν τα δικαστήρια και το διεθνές δίκαιο στην προστασία των δικαιωμάτων στην Ευρώπη, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στους τομείς της ισότητας των φύλων, στις μειονότητες, τους μετανάστες και άλλες ευάλωτες κοινωνικές ομάδες. Η κ. Αναγνώστου έχει επίσης μεγάλη εμπειρία και εξειδίκευση σε δράσεις ενσωμάτωσης της διάστασης του φύλου (gender mainstreaming) στην έρευνα και στην ανώτατη εκπαίδευση, και έχει υπηρετήσει ως μέλος και αντιπρόεδρος στην Επιτροπή Ισότητας των Φύλων στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο (2020-2023). Η κ. Αναγνώστου έχει συμμετάσχει ως συντονίστρια και ως εταίρος σε πολλά ερευνητικά έργα που χρηματοδοτήθηκαν από τα Προγράμματα-Πλαίσιο της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής. Έχει συγγράψει και επιΜέληθεί τέσσερα βιβλία και πενήντα κεφάλαια βιβλίων και άρθρα σε έγκριτα επιστημονικά περιοδικά. Πρόσφατα δημοσίευσε τη μονογραφία με θέμα The European Convention of Human Rights Regime – Reform of Immigration and Minority Policies from Afar (Routledge, 2023).
