The new book by Dimitri A. Sotiropoulos entitled “The Irregular Pendulum of Democracy” is just published by Palgrave MacMillan. The book seeks to answer questions such as why and how are unconsolidated democracies shifting between authoritarianism and democracy, based on field work in three Post-Yugoslav democracies.
