ELIAMEP participated in a 2 day “International Event for Women Entrepreneurs” from October 25-26 at the Goethe-Institute in Rome, within the framework of the ATHENA project – Approaches To valorise the High ENtrepreneuriAl potential of migrant women to contribute to their social and economic integration. The event was attended by thirty female migrant entrepreneurs from the six partner countries and the objective is to improve their economic and social integration.

Day 1 of the international event was Led by Miriam Bruera of Pink Factory Academy where she encouraged the entrepreneurs to share their experiences, network and develop strategies on how to move their businesses forward, while the second day of the event was dedicated to a tour of Rome led by MigrantTour. As part of the tour, participants learned about the historical flows of migration in Italy over the past century, the various communities, support organizations, challenges faced by migrants, and even visited several businesses run by migrants.
