The South-East Europe Programme of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) organized a roundtable discussion with keynote speakers Marko Troshanovski, President of the Institute for Democracy and Zoran Nechev, Head of the EU department at the Institute for Democracy, a think tank based in North Macedonia.
More specifically, the discussion, which was moderated by ELIAMEP’s Head of the SE Europe Programme, Ioannis Armakolas, focused on examining the state of bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Greece following the Prespa Agreement. Participants explored the successes and challenges of its implementation, and discussed concrete ways to further improve diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between the two countries. The goal was to foster deeper cooperation and dialogue, while addressing any outstanding issues to ensure long-term stability and progress in the region.
