A. Dimitriadi speaks about the EU -Turkey cooperation at the Global Solutions Summit

Angeliki Dimitriadi participated in the session on the EU-Turkey Cooperation on Migration organised on May 28 2021, by the Mercator Dialogue on Asylum and Migration (MEDAM) in the framework of the Global Solutions Summit 2021.

Dr. Dimitriadi highlighted the EU-Turkey Statement is only partially responsible for the reduction in arrivals and noted that any future renewal of the deal needs to prioritise supporting the integration of Syrians but also non-Syrian migrants in Turkey, through boosting access to education and employment.
