In the context of the 12th Regional Growth Conference, the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) organizes two sessions, on Thursday, May 30, 2024, in Patras. The sessions are organized under the framework of the European Programme EUAct2 funded by the European Union.

The sessions, entitled ” Is the EU ready to address future challenges?” and “Europe’s Next Day”, focus on the new EU political cycle after the European Parliament elections in June 2024 and the challenges the EU will face in a constantly evolving global geopolitical landscape. Critical decisions to be taken require strategic thinking. How will the outcome of the EP elections affect the future direction of the European Union? What are the top priorities for the EU in the post- election period? What lessons can be drawn from past experiences and crises and how will they affect the EU’s governance and decision-making in the years ahead?

Free transfer from Athens to the venue at Patras is available, departing on Thursday morning, 30/5, and returning on Saturday afternoon, 1/6.
