On Thursday 9 November 2023, the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) conducted a presentation of the pilot version of a new video game entitled “Ticket to an EU ride”. The game was presented by Professor Spyros Blavoukos, Senior Research Fellow, Head of the ‘Ariane Condellis; European Programme at ELIAMEP and was tested by members of the EU Youth Hub, which is an organization of young people interested in European affairs. .
The “Ticket to an EU ride” is an electronic, educational game that aims to enrich the players’ knowledge about the European Union. The aim of the game is to serve as a useful educational tool that can be utilized in schools and universities, attracting the interest of students and teachers about the European Union. It will be available and accessible to all through the ELIAMEP’s website.
The development of the game is under the European Programme EPACE-EU (Enhancing Public Awareness and Civic Engagement in the EU), which is funded by the European Union and aims to enhance citizen’s awareness, especially young people, about the European Union and participation in deliberative democratic processes.
