As part of the ‘ParticipatEU’ Programme, co-funded by the European Union and under the auspices of the European Parliament, ELIAMEP has produced a compelling commercial spot to raise awareness about the critical issue of voter abstention in the European Elections and to encourage citizens to exercise their right to vote.
In the previous electoral cycle (European Elections 2019), abstention rates were notably high. This initiative aims to inspire greater participation in this fundamental democratic process at the European level. The European elections are intrinsically linked to the nation’s European aspirations and the influential role of European citizens within this broader context.
