Loukas Tsoukalis was a guest on Pavlos Tsima’s show on SKAI TV on Friday 17 May. He spoke about the vicious cycle of violence, the prevalence of extremes on both sides and argued that peace can only come from outside, although it is a difficult prospect. Ahead of the November elections, President Biden is being squeezed between a significant part of Democratic voters, especially young people, who oppose Israel’s support for this war and its donors who have a very different attitude. It is not an easy choice.
