Loukas Tsoukalis, in an in-depth interview with Angelos Athanasopoulos for Vima tis Kyriakis, talks about the European Union’s successes, pathogenesis and prospects as well as the challenges facing the bloc, explaining why: “Our only hope, as Europeans, is for Macron to be re-elected and for there to be a convergence of his views with Soltz’s”. Tsoukalis points out that “It will be very positive if this is combined with what is happening around Europe and common answers are sought, because if Europe does not act as one, it does not exist”.
